A Longer View of Time
Service Leaders:  Rev. Susan Frederick-Gray
Sunday, November 13 at 9:30 AM & 11:15 AM
It could be argued that Americans think about time on a very short horizon. We want it now! This can increase our expectations as well as disappointment. How might a longer view of time help us create deeper acceptance and wisdom for our lives?

Multigenerational Bread Service: A Feast in Community
Service Leaders:  Rev. Susan Frederick-Gray
Sunday, November 20 at 9:30 AM & 11:15 AM
In honor of the feast day of Thanksgiving, everyone is invited to bring a grain-based staple (tortillas, challah, brown bread, muffins, idlis, injera, naan, fry bread, etc) to share with the community. As we bring gifts reflective of our family traditions, we nurture a greater awareness of the beauty and diversity of our own community.

Open Small Group
Thursday, November 17, at 7:00 PM in Annex B
Facilitators:  Mike Sheffer & Josh Tures
Small Group Ministry is an ideal way to connect to others and tend to your heart and spirit at UUCP.  Life can feel like a frenzied struggle against a materialistic world, which leaves us feeling disconnected from our deepest selves and without the energy to reach out in love and service to others. They follow the monthly worship themes and offer a way to engage the themes in your daily life and grow and learn with a group while sharing your own story, insights and learnings. Check out our Open Drop-In group Thursday, November 17, to see what a small group is like. For more info visit the link below.
