Help Us with a Monthly Food & Supply Drive for our Navajo Nation Community
This past week a pick up truck full of supplies were delivered to the extended family and community of a UUCP member who live on the Navajo reservation. A wonderful team of folks came together to donate funds, and store it all to make this happen - many thanks to all of you! These supplies are very much appreciated by family members who are caring for relatives recuperating from COVID in a wide spread area where grocery and medical items are time consuming and often difficult to obtain. We anticipate doing another supply collection in early August. If you are able to help with that and are not already on the team list, Please use this form to let us know if/how you would be willing to be involved

Rev. Terry Sims

Amy McKlindon
After months of illness, death, the continuing threat, physical distancing, economic and psychic pain, how much more must we endure because of the novel corona virus? And how? I think the how has to do with what sustains us in any crisis: hope and faith.

THE INFILTRATORS is a docu-thriller that tells the true story of young immigrants who are detained by Border Patrol and thrown into a shadowy for-profit detention center—on purpose. Marco and Viri are members of the National Immigrant Youth Alliance, a group of radical DREAMers who are on a mission to stop unjust deportations. And the best place to stop deportations, they believe, is in detention. However, when Marco and Viri attempt a daring reverse ‘prison break,’ things don’t go according to plan. By weaving together documentary footage of the real infiltrators with re-enactments of the events inside the detention center, THE INFILTRATORS tells an incredible and thrilling true story in a genre-defying new cinematic language.
