Poet Diane Ackerman notes, “In rare moments of deep play, we can lay aside our sense of self, shed time’s continuum, ignore pain, and sit quietly in the absolute present … No analyzing or explaining … One is completely open to whatever drama may unfold.” When in life do you make time for play? Who (or what) brings out your playful side? Join Rev. Sue Browning and others as we explore play as a part of our spiritual journey.

Summer Discussion Leaders Needed
Here it is June already! The perfect time to sign up to lead a Summer Discussion session at UUCR. We are hoping to hold these discussions in person and outside at the church. The following Sundays are available: July 25th, August 8th and 22nd, and September 5th.

Please consider volunteering to lead a discussion on a topic dear to your heart or interests (or we have some topic ideas to share). We are keeping it very simple for this summer — all you need is a topic and some questions.

and also Father’s Day.
