Sunday, March 26 — In Person & ZOOM
"The Fear Factor"
Fear permeates our culture. Movies, books, video games, news broadcasts, and many of our leaders seem to peddle fear as a matter of course. Sometimes the alarm must be sounded. However, the cost of fear mongering has been the corrosion of trust. Indeed, fear has been described as the opposite of trust. In this service, Rev. Karyn Marsh will explore how we can dispel fear by building trust.

- Jan Sprinkel, Service Leader
- Michael Casey, Musician
Sunday, April 2 — In Person & ZOOM
- Rev. Paul Boothby, Guest Speaker

Tell Me About That T-shirt?
A reminder that this Sunday is a chance to learn about one another through T-shirts, coffee mugs, and more. The service will be a chance to share, and sing, and build connections. It's going to be a fun service for all ages! Here are a few options I'm considering wearing or bringing!

Yard Sale - April 29
Silent & Live Auctions - May 6

Some people have told us that they have items for the Yard Sale and a few have contacted us about items for the Silent Auction. We've also received some Live Auction offerings including: a morning of outdoor gardening work, a spa date at Images Salon, Forest Music at Adkins Arboretum followed by pizza, Sunday brunch, and an Enchanted April movie night with antipasto & dessert. We are currently accepting any Live Auction offerings (April 16 deadline) that you have come up with and any Silent Auction offerings that you have a photo and description of. Please submit them to Darlene at uuofchesterriver@gmail.com so she can start the online auction catalog which will be available on the UUCR website.
