"Annual Summer Reading Book Discussion"

Our annual sharing of good books we've read lately—or of favorite books not so recently read—is the focus of the discussion on Sunday, July 6^th. Please come prepared to talk for three to four minutes about your book. No need to bring the physical book, but please bring the title and author(s) so that we can publish it in Reflections. It is always so interesting to hear about what everyone's reading!

JUL 20 | "Small Group Ministry — Chalice Circles", M.Q. Riding and Mike Morris, Discussion Leaders — In-person ONLY

This service will be an introduction to Chalice Circles, which are small discussion groups. We will talk about the recommended structure and protocol of Chalice Circles and seek feedback about discussion topics. If there is interest, Michael Morris and M.Q. Riding will be co-facilitating a Chalice Circle this coming September.

JUL 27 | "Spreading Joy", M.Q. Riding, Discussion Leader — In-person ONLY

With so many factors in life completely out of our control, how can we make a difference? By spreading joy. What if you aren’t happy yourself? Are there ways to find joy within and around you? In this Sunday service we’ll consider the options of how to build joy in your life and share it with others.

Today is July's "First Thursdays Conversations" day! Please contact Rev. Kathryn to schedule an appointment for the next conversation on August 7^th beginning at noon.

Are you interested in volunteering to work with the youth of our congregation? Want to learn from them as they grow?

Please contact Rev Kathryn so we can discuss and possibly start the Religious Exploration (RE) policy processes for fall.

The UUCR June Potluck will be held at Vida Morley's home on Friday, July 18 beginning at 6 PM. Please bring a dish to share.
