SCHEDULING BUILDING USE

With the start of the new church year and increased building use by outside groups, it is more important than ever to plan ahead and schedule any and all use of the church building to avoid any conflicts. (It is also important so that the thermostats can be programmed to cool/heat to a comfortable level during those times the building is occupied in the upcoming week.) In addition to the regular cleaning, maintenance, and use of the building by UUCR groups and meetings, that of the two outside meditation groups, and that of the outside Reiki group, Washington College will begin using the building for some of their classes and meetings.

Please contact the church office to be placed on the church useage calendar. You can check what is already scheduled under "Calendar" at the "Links & Contact" above and also at UUCR's website.

FELLOWSHIP HELP NEEDED

Volunteers needed for Coffee Hosts and Greeters, beginning Sunday, September 8, our first regular church service following the summer Sunday discussions. Signup sheets are on the white board in the lobby. Training is available.

We also need Potluck Hosts for our monthly potlucks beginning in October, as Nancy Holland is hosting the September potluck. Potlucks can be held at UUCR, the host's home, or at the host's choice of site. A signup sheet is on the white board in the lobby.

MEMBERS & FRIENDS DIRECTORY UPDATE

It’s that time again! It's time to update photos in our members and friends directory of our smiling faces to share with our community. We especially want to invite our new attendees. Also, there have been many changes at UUCR and in the UU world that need to be reflected in our directory. This is just a very advanced notice of this project. We will be making arrangements to either take your photo at a Sunday service or enable you to upload your own picture to our website. So if you want to use your own picture, now is the time to take those selfies. The PROC team will follow up in September.
