Gone But Not Forgotten

Word has been received of the passing off Joyce Bennis, daughter of UUCSC's founding members, Pete and Winnie Bennis. She gifted the pulpit lectern to UUCSC, having won it in a fundraiser at Langworthy Library, where she was Children’s Librarian. The lectern was crafted by Charles Robinson from Rockville RI . Condolences may be sent to Winnie's sister, Ruth Fiddes, 411 Leisure Drive, Wakefield, RI 02879.
On request of the Carole Driver’s family, the virtual memorial service planned for June 12 is cancelled. Future service information will be shared, as available..
Community Outreach

"I understand that I don’t understand but I stand with you” has offered an opportunity to crack our white privilege. An important message from Jean Bowen, Social Justice Team.
