10am Sunday Adult Religious Education (ARE) options:

ARE Discussion Group: Meets downstairs in common room. Topic: "Making a Difference." What does social justice mean to you? We’ll use a four-way grid to help us understand the various ways different types of people engage. Join us.

Meditation will be held at 10:00, followed by a short reading and discussion between 10:30-
10:45. It doesnʼt matter what type of meditation you do, or if you have ever meditated before, you
are welcome to come meditate in the UUFF Annex building (across Storer from UUFF in the west-
nearest Storer-side of the annex). ALL ARE WELCOME. Enter through the front door.

10am RE for kids 5+ continues today! All are invited to meet in room 4 downstairs at 10am for Religious Exploration, before rejoining adults for the 11 o’clock service. This week, we continue to examine what it means to be a people of RESILIENCE. We learn to remember how humor helps us step away from our focus on pain and puts things into perspective.

The new 10am Class RE for youth ages 11+ continues today! Meet at 10am in classroom 3 downstairs (between the OWL class room and the elementary CRE classroom).  Eva Ouma will help facilitate this week's class.
Group still needs a few additional volunteers to help teach on a rotating schedule. If you are interested in teaching, or have any additional questions about the class, please contact Leanda Gavin ( lmshelby@gmail.com ) or Joanna Person-Michener ( resiliencejo73@gmail.com ).

Getting an early start - Please SIGN UP NOW for the March 21st UUFF Lunch Angels Serve Day!

UUFF works in rotation with other churches to provide a good, warm meal to the homeless population of Fayetteville, and we next serve on Saturday, March 21st. This is a family-friendly opportunity to literally "serve" those in need from our local community. Several volunteers are needed both to make casseroles and to help serve. Please contact Gretchen ( gwilkes@farmcards.org ) if you have any questions about this important social justice opportunity.
Newcomers (or not-so-newcomers!) interested in learning more about UUFF and membership are encouraged to attend New UU classes scheduled for Sunday, March 8th and 15th from 5-7:30 pm in the Sanctuary .

In the first class, Rev. Jim will lead the group on an exploration of Unitarian Universalist faith. At the second class, the board and other leaders will discuss the structure of UUFF as well as volunteer opportunities that can enhance and grow your faith.  Dinner will be served at both events and childcare is available with a reservation.  For questions, see Rev Jim, Sarah Faitak or Janet Titus.

You may sign up for the classes on the clipboard on activities table in lobby or HERE.

Members who would like to help welcome new members and/or prepare food for the classes, please contact Sarah Faitak at sfaitak@cox.net .
