Northern Woodlands Magazine Article: Heavy Rain and Upland Forest

Vermont is getting more heavy rain events that can errod soils, wash away nutrients, damage infrastructure, and impact water quality. Learn more about these events and how upland forests can help reduce these impacts.

We’re Looking for Landowners to Participate in Research!

We are seeking landowners to participate in a research project that will help us better understand Vermont’s forests in a changing climate. The criteria for participation is that active forest management has occurred within the past 10 years or so, or have a plan to in the near future.
