Invasive Plant Management Survey: Seeking Participants

Researchers at UMass Amherst and the University of Maryland are surveying natural resource professionals about when and how they manage invasive plants and how timing may be shifting with climate change.

The survey takes 15–25 minutes, is anonymous, and if you filled it out last year, they’d love to hear from you again.

Have questions? Contact Dr. Bethany Bradley (bbradley@eco.umass.edu).

Forest Hydrology

How Forests Cycle, Absorb, and Store Water

As heavy rain events become more frequent and powerful across the Northeast, forests are increasingly important in absorbing water and reducing runoff. Learn how forests slow, spread, and sink water to reduce soil erosion, downstream flooding, infrastructure damage, and support climate-resilient landscapes.

Watch Dr. Ali Kosiba present hosted by North Branch Nature Center's Naturalist Journeys presentation series on rivers.
