Welcome

Fall is here and brings another exciting new year for United Women in Faith. UWF is a sisterhood acting in faith to tackle the hard work of the world without hesitation. Driven by God’s love and united in sisterhood, we work to improve the lives of women, children and youth. Every day we show up, we act, we get it done. This is a group of women who care about each other and not only get work done but also know how to have fun.

This is a diverse group of women looking to grow and learn. We want to grow our community. Come and join us. Don’t know anyone? Bring a friend. We’re a friendly vibrant group. Contact me for any questions.

Fall UWF Activities

• Sunday, September 20: UWF Group Picture Day Let’s get a current picture of our group! Please gather at the front of the church after the organ postlude. We would love to have you all represented.
• Monday, September 21 at 9 am: Drop-In Coffee at Maple Leaf Coffee House Drop by for third Mondays casual gathering for coffee and conversation. There’s no agenda or need to sign up—just show up. Location: 1 Illinois Street, St. Charles
• Saturday, September 26 at 10 am: Labyrinth Walk You’re invited to a faith walk at the Olcott Center (Theosophical Society) in Wheaton. A labyrinth walk is an ancient meditative practice using a single, winding path to calm the mind. Location: 1926 North Main St, Wheaton
• Friday, October 16 at 6 pm: Women’s Movie Night Gather for a night out with dinner and a movie! We start with a meal, watch the movie and discuss it after. Watch for more details and a sign up on the church app and website. Meets in Wiley Hall.
• Saturday, October 17 at 11 am: Cottages in the Woods Come to an outing with artisans & crafters, tour Swedish Tiny Houses, Swedish bakery, food trucks AND gnomes galore! Cost: $10. Location: Good Templar Park, enter at 528 East Side Dr, Geneva IL. Meet at the event entrance at 11 am. goodtemplarpark.org/events
• Sunday, October 18 from 2 to 4 pm: Women’s Bunco Come for an afternoon of fun and games. Bunco is easy to learn and we’re happy to teach newcomers. Sign up on the church app or website closer to the event. Meets in Wiley Hall.
• Monday, October 19 at 9 am: Drop-In Coffee at Maple Leaf Coffee House  Drop by for this casual gathering for coffee and conversation. Location: 1 Illinois Street, St. Charles

Lydia and Phoebe Circle Groups

You are welcome to join one of our circle groups or just come to our social events. After much discussion we are combining several groups to have just the Lydia and Phoebe Circles. The Lydia group meets at night while the Phoebe group meets during the day. It is believed these groups can meet the needs of all women. We do service projects, have social time together, invite speakers, or have off-site events.
