Fans for Seniors


We would like to highlight the success of 'Fans for Seniors,' a collaborative initiative by United Way of Greater High Point and Senior Resources of Guilford. Thanks to the generous support from YOU and our community, we provided much-needed relief to over 200 seniors during the hot summer months, ensuring their safety and comfort.

Mindfulness Matters, a new and impactful initiative by United Way of Greater High Point, aims to support teens and children by providing a comprehensive program that fosters mental health and well-being through mindfulness practices and resources. Stay tuned for more updates on this new initiative!

CANpaign Food Drive


Join United Way of Greater High Point as we kickoff the 2023 campaign season with the 14th Annual CANpaign Food Drive! With your help, we can help restock our local food pantries and meet the needs of hundreds of our community's most vulnerable citizens whose lives are impacted by economic difficulty.

UWGHP Stuff the Ambulance

We’re excited to announce that Guilford County EMS has partnered with Guilford County Professional Fire Fighters and Paramedics, and IAFF Local 5066 to collect non-perishable food items! Come out to 2701 North Main Street, High Point, on Wednesday, September 12, 2023, 9 am - 4:00 pm.

Date: Tuesday, September 12th.

Time: 9:00 am -4:00 pm


CANpaign Night at the Rockers Stadium

Join us on September 5th, 2023, from 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm at the High Point Rockers Stadium! Last year, about 1,200 canned goods were collected to help restock the local food pantries. We are forever grateful for the generosity of the Greater High Point Community! Your support helps us to make measurable differences in the lives of our neighbors. #LIVEUNITED

AAI Kickoff Luncheon

#ReminderChallenge

United Way of Greater High Point is excited to announce the upcoming "2023 AAI Kickoff Event Luncheon," a captivating lunch and learn experience designed to usher in a year of community service, continuous learning, leadership, and networking opportunities.


The "2023 AAI Kickoff Event Luncheon" will take place at Carolina Core Wellness located at 4000 Ossi Ct, High Point, NC 27265, from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm on August 24th. Attendees will have the chance to immerse themselves in insightful discussions surrounding the State of our Community, with City of High Point Government Manager, Tasha Logan Ford, as our esteemed keynote speaker.

Project Board Development

PBD is a leadership development program designed to identify, recruit and train a diverse group of candidates for referral to serve on committees and governing boards of area health and human service organizations. Classes are held in the Spring and Fall. Due to COVID-19 safety precautions, classes are currently being held virtually.

In collaboration with Family Service of the Piedmont and Community Resource Network, $MART MONEY is a series of financial literacy and coaching classes designed to equip attendees with the tools needed for financial success. The Women in Motion Recipient Grant aims to empower and uplift deserving women in our community, supporting them in their journey toward growth and success.



Women in Motion is thrilled to announce the winner of their 2023 grant! Congratulations to the on-site counseling program at West End Ministries, Inc.! With this funding, they will be able to provide even more hours of free and accessible counseling to women in our community, empowering them to overcome challenges and live life to their fullest potential.
