What a remarkable summer it’s been! Last month brought two exciting milestones for United Way of Northern Arizona (UWNA) and the communities we serve.

We awarded more than $470,000 in Community Investment funds to 41 programs across northern Arizona, supporting critical services that strengthen our region. We also celebrated the 20th anniversary of KinderCamp™, our signature early childhood program that helps young learners take their first confident steps into kindergarten.

We’re excited to share stories from both of these impactful events and invite you to join us for our Annual Campaign Kickoff Breakfast on August 26.

This year’s theme, “United is the Way,” captures the collaborative spirit that drives everything we do. Together, we are changing lives, creating opportunities, and building a stronger, thriving community for all in northern Arizona.

UWNA Awards Over $470,000 in Grants

Thanks to the generosity of donors like you, UWNA awarded grants to 41 programs in Coconino, Navajo, and Apache counties that promoted healthy communities, provided youth opportunity, or fostered financial security.

KinderCamp™ Celebrates 20 Years

- and Looks to the Future

For two decades, KinderCamp has helped thousands of children across northern Arizona take their first confident steps into kindergarten.

Held each year in June, this was the 20th anniversary of the program. This year it assisted 140 children as they started their academic careers. Camps were held in five northern Arizona communities, including new camps in both Joseph City and Holbrook.
