National Reading Month
March 2nd is National Read Across America Day! Lets Kick off National Reading Month with United Way of PA!
Read Across America is an annual event led by the National Education Association on March 2nd to get kids excited about reading! United Ways use this time to mobilize volunteers to celebrate Dr. Seuss' birthday and advance education by reading with young children.

"The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn the more places
you'll go." - Dr. Suess

United Ways across Pennsylvania are committed to increasing access to high-quality, affordable child care and early learning opportunities that include teaching infants and toddlers literacy skills from a young age! We want Pennsylvania children to grow and succeed both now and later in life. Early childhood learning is a step towards that bright future!
