The United Way of Staunton, Augusta County & Waynesboro will host two Days of Caring during National Volunteer Week.

April 20 & 21 Projects

Renewing Homes of Greater Augusta
10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. & 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Critical home repair needs at a mobile home in Waynesboro. Volunteers will replace underskirting, install a storm door and secure loose siding panels.

All training is provided!


Valley Children's Advocacy Center, Staunton
Wednesday/Thursday- 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. & Thursday 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Volunteers will paint, deep clean, organize and/or landscape the Center in Staunton.


Valley Supportive Housing, Staunton
Thursday 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. & Wednesday/Thursday 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Volunteers will pressure wash and scrub porches at homes in Staunton. All materials provided!


Alleghany Mountain Institute
10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. & 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Volunteers will assist with farm work including transplanting seedlings, seeding, maintaining the green house, and harvesting produce.


United Way of Staunton, Augusta County & Waynesboro
Thursday 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. & Wednesday/Thursday 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Volunteers will assist with painting, cleaning, and organizing at the United Way Office in Fishersville.
April 21 Only Projects

Valley Program for Aging Services, Waynesboro
10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. & 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Volunteers will do springtime garden clean up at Waynesboro VPAS garden. Including raking, mulching, planting flowers, etc.
