Financial Coaching
Virtual Workshop Series

Sign up to take part in our New Year, Better Finance Workshop series! This is a virtual workshop series and will cover topics around changing your money mindset, budgeting better, sustainable savings, how to improve your credit and manage your debt.

Financial Navigation

Have you experienced a change with your finances?
If the answer is "Yes", Financial Navigation could be a resource for you.

Financial Navigation is not all about being in crisis with your money. It's a space where you can get questions you may have answered where a navigator can direct you to a local resource that could help your situation.

Washtenaw County Office of Community and Economic Development, in partnership with United Way of Washtenaw County, has launched a Financial Navigator program to help residents manage the financial impact of COVID-19.

Call United Way for a free, 30-minute call with one of our Financial Navigators and get your questions answered and help with navigating the numerous resources available during this time.

VITA Appointments Open Soon!

Our VITA Team has been preparing since the summer for the 2021 Tax Season. COVID-19 forced us to completely change how we meet your tax needs, but it will not stop us. Read more about our VITA services, eligibility, and other free tax filing services here. Scan & Go services for those facing digital barriers are available at partner nonprofits and the United Way of Washtenaw County main office.

United Way of Washtenaw County is an official IRS-sponsored VITA Site. All VITA volunteers are certified by the IRS and documents will be handled following official safety standards. In these times of uncertainty, we want you to be certain that your safety and wellbeing are our top priority.
Get Ready for Tax Season

It's time to check your mail! Most tax-related forms arrive through the mail during January. Make sure you receive and locate all the documents you need to complete your return. We know that even just making sure you have all your tax-related documents can feel overwhelming, which is why we are here to help. Access our VITA Services or find other free filing options here.
