Last month, Thomas, Mr. Huber and I were in Cologne for the biennial Anuga Food Show. It is the largest food show in the world which sees over 160,000 people make their way to the Koln Messe. We had the chance to catch up with many of our existing suppliers but also we got the chance to meet potential suppliers. Good news is that in the coming weeks and months, you will see more exciting new products in our store.
I continued my trip to Argentina where I got to visit a farm, a feedlot and two beef plants. The beautiful country has an abundance of rainfall and green grass which is what makes the beef so good. The beef plants are also a lot better than I envisioned, boasting world class hygiene and safety standards. Unfortunately bone-in beef is not approved from Argentina but we will continue to see what boneless cuts is suitable for you.
Our Christmas catalogue is out in store and online and we are accepting Christmas orders all the way till 15th December. Like last year, you can either place it directly on the website
or at the store with the butcher's assistance on our tablets.
