University Hills COVID-19 Latest Updates
Orange County Returns to the Red Tier
With six cases per 100,000 and 3.2% of COVID tests coming back positive, Orange County officially moved to the less restrictive red tier as of March 14. While the updated status does not represent any major changes for University Hills facilities, it does open a number of other activities that residents may be interested in, such as sleep-away camps. Short Videos Promote COVID Vaccine to a Hip Hop Soundtrack
Health equity advocacy group Hip Hop Public Health has produced “Community Immunity: A Rap Anthology About Vaccines," a series of five video shorts to promote COVID vaccine acceptance. The videos star rapper Darryl “DMC” McDaniels and cover vaccine safety, myths and misperceptions and why getting the vaccine is better for overall immunity than getting COVID.

All UCI Employees Are Encouraged to Get Vaccinated
Orange County has opened vaccinations to persons at risk of occupational exposure through their work in higher education. All UCI employees are encouraged to get vaccinated through any available channel. Review a list of resources put together by the campus here.
