Inna Linov, Artist of the Month
“All my work I created about the war I donated to raise money to help Ukraine,” she said. “I need to explain it to people around the world and because of this I chose the most democratic language — posters.”
| |
Inna is a painter, a printmaker and a designer. living in CT. She expresses and chronicles her life through visual art. A focus of her work is living in 4 countries but as she says, "Ukraine Is In My Heart.” She was born and lived in the Ukraine, Russia, Israel and now in the USA. Her childhood baby doll traveled with her and she still has her cherished 'Sveta'. She incorporates her doll Sveta as symbolic imagery, reflecting vulnerability and identity.
She was compelled to make these posters as she watched the attack. The works have been used as visuals for advocacy and fundraising. The posters have been on view in Europe, Israel and the USA.
