Umatilla Chamber of Commerce Monthly Newsletter

Greetings Umatilla!

Now is the time for fall festivals, corn mazes, pulling out your warm coats, and hats, and groves; and if you need new warm clothes for you or your kids remember shop at a local small business whenever possible. But last weekend for the inaugural Rock the Locks Music Festival didn't seem like Fall weather with blue skies and sunshine all three days. Congratulations to the City of Umatilla on their first Rock the Locks the Music Festival. It was a great team effort with the City staff, sponsors, volunteers, promoters, bands, sound crews, law enforcement, EMTs, food and merchandise vendors, and all those who helped bring this event together before, during and after. We still having many community events upcoming for this month here in Umatilla and the surrounding area which you can read about in this newsletter. But before I finish I wanted to remind you that October is Domestic Violence Awareness and Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Remember stay safe, stay healthy, and support local business!
