This week's theme - "It Ain't Easy Bein' Green". The farm is bustling with greens!
Salad seemed to be an obvious course of action for this week's featured recipe. This salad is a sum of its parts and highlighted by the diversity of textures and variety of greens represented in this week's box. Hoping the wilted cabbage component and your own additions make this a fun dish to welcome the arrival of the summer season ahead.
In this week's farm update we continue to make a big push to get new beds built & planted. Lots of roots have been planted - leeks, beets, radishes, and more peppers!
We also have been ramping up our herb growing with the completion of mint beds (Chocolate Mint, Strawberry Mint, Spearmint, Pineapple Mint, ect). Stay tuned!
Back again this week is our very own Umbel Roots signature herbal tea blend. This Spring blend seen here is a beautiful culmination of Mint, Lavender, Chrysanthemum, and Calendula. Steep and enjoy in your favorite mug.
