Good morning, Austin!

Sometimes, a single tear carries the weight of a thousand prayers. It falls, not in weakness, but in surrender—watering the seeds of hope, redemption, and a future yet to be written. For many of our residents, faith is all they have left. It is the foundation they stand on when everything else has crumbled. It is what softens hearts, opens minds, and gives them the strength to embrace the programs, structure, and guidance we offer here at the WORTH Center. Faith unifies them. It carries them. And for many, it saves them.

Over 30 residents recently made the life-changing decision to be baptized through our community partnership with Revive Ohio. With certificates in hand and joy in their hearts, they stepped into the water unashamed, publicly declaring an inward transformation that they want the world to see. They willingly signed releases so that their moment could be shared—because when you’ve been given a second chance through Christ, you don’t keep it to yourself.

Imagine for a moment standing at the doors of your release Austin, walking out of the WORTH Center with nothing but the clothes on your back and a GED. No family to welcome you home. No money to start fresh. No place to lay your head that night. For so many, the only thing they have left is their faith. And yet, it is enough. Because with God, nothing is impossible.

At the WORTH Center, we remain committed to providing opportunities for personal, professional, and spiritual development. Some journeys will be long, and for others, even longer. But one thing is for certain—no one walks alone. The first second chance doesn’t come from a program. It doesn’t come from the justice system. It comes from God.

And for that, we are unashamed.
