Unclaimed Funds Reports Due Nov. 1; Clients To Receive Notice From Rea Aug. 15
On Aug. 15, clients will receive an initial email notice from Rea regarding their unclaimed funds reports. It will be followed by two reminder emails on Aug. 22 and Sept. 5. Unclaimed funds reports are due to the State of Ohio by Nov. 1, 2022. In the past, accounting services mailed these reporting requirement notices to clients. This year, the notices will be sent by Rea's practice growth team. Notices will be emailed to existing clients we've previously supported and to new corporate and partnership tax clients. Fees to prepare these forms are $100 for a negative report or $150 plus $25 per OUF-8 for a positive report. Client responses are due Sept. 15.
