Two Years Sure Flew By!

Thank you for being a part of the Magnolia family and continuing to send your friends and family our way. We have enjoyed meeting with clients in our new Roswell office/home – and can’t believe it’s been two years since we moved in.

There are many highlights from the past two years and being in the Roswell community on historic Sloan Street has been so meaningful. We call our clients “family” – so inviting them into our Magnolia “home” to discuss their own family is something we don’t take lightly. Immediately upon walking into our office, you’ll see the shelves that are filled with our own family photos. This is the warm and inviting environment we have created for our staff and visitors.

If you ever have any questions or need any advice, don't hesitate to reach out to touch base with us.

A Financial Planning

Crystal Ball

No matter your income level or net worth, everyone could use a financial plan. Although there is no crystal ball to predict the future, having a manageable plan in place is a smart move to be as prepared as possible for what comes your way.

What goes into a financial plan?

  • Financial goals: Consider your current assets and calculate how much you need to save and invest to reach your goals.
  • Medical Expenses: Prepare for additional medical expenses after retirement. Keep in mind that Medicare does not cover 100% of medical costs.
  • Social Security: For many folks, these monthly payments are the main source of income later in life. Work with us to get a Social Security analysis to evaluate when to start planning.
  • Insurance Planning: Will you need Life or Long Term Insurance? It’s far better to anticipate these needs in advance.
  • Estate Planning: How do you want your estate handled after you are gone? What provisions do you need to make for a spouse, partner, or family?

Some additional things to consider:

  • Look at your entire financial picture to help you determine how to achieve your short-term and long-term goals; like buying a house or going to college.
  • Make a list of your assets and liabilities. Examine your budget to determine how much you are spending and saving.
  • Flexibility is key. Your goals and needs will ebb and flow throughout your lifetime, be sure to update your plan periodically.

When in doubt, call us for support and guidance – we are here to help.

Fasten Your Seatbelt!

Remember how fun rollercoasters were when we were kids? We waited in line for what seemed like an eternity – all for the highs and lows of the ride that made us scream with delight and fear. Once we were buckled in and grabbed the safety bar, we were ready to go. That was a ride we chose to step onto, compared to the investment rollercoaster which is one that we didn’t necessarily choose – yet here we are!
