Dear brothers and sisters in our Lord Jesus, part of the growing repentance remnant:
The attempted assassination of President Trump at the White House Correspondents dinner the other night forces us to ask for answers. My answer: we need the Lord's Solution, His healing of this nation, and it starts with you and me repenting today, and repenting together on any next national day of repentance, as with this coming Thursday, April 30.
In the face of God allowing pestilence including moral pestilence ( 2 Chronicles 7:13,14) repentance by His people brings in the Almighty LORD, He heals the nation. Our forefathers knew this and used this Godly Solution 800 times since the Pilgrims. We have basically forgotten this Godly Strategy in this and all other nations.
Ironically the President just the other day read the very Scripture, 2 Chronicles 7: 13,14, as part of a national reading of the Bible project. May he now awake to actually use it as did ten earlier Presidents, most recently Woodrow Wilson in 1918. May those closest to the President inform him that repentance is a gift, not a punishment. Under the Blood of Christ repentance heals personally and nationally when we believers set aside a Day for turning humbly back to Him, confessing the ways we have gone off His narrow path. He will always forgive us.
We need to know more about the attempted assassination, but I believe there was a spirit of murder on that man that was never removed. It needed to have been removed by the Blood of the Lamb, our Lord Jesus. We are "by nature children of wrath." Ephesians 2:3. Spirits of death, including murder, can be transferred when we are born; they need to be removed when we are born again in Christ and then when we use the gift of the Holy Spirit to remove all sin patterns including the most hideous, including murder and death.
As we move towards national repentance, it's important to use the Blood of the Lamb, the Blood of Yeshua, to cleanse from old sin patterns. And the sin patterns are not just yours; they are also the sins of your ancestors.
This is from the Ten Commandments:
4 “You shall not make for yourself any idol, or any likeness (form, manifestation) of what is in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the water under the earth [as an object to worship]. 5 You shall not worship them nor serve them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous (impassioned) God demanding what is rightfully and uniquely mine], visiting (avenging) the iniquity (sin, guilt) of the fathers on the children [that is, calling the children to account for the sins of their fathers], to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, 6 but showing graciousness and steadfast lovingkindness to thousands [of generations] of those who love Me and keep My commandments. (Exodus 20: 4-6).
Again, this is the Word of God, Exodus 34:5-8 amplified version:
5 Then the Lord descended in the cloud and stood there with Moses as he proclaimed the Name of the Lord. 6 Then the Lord passed by in front of him, and proclaimed, “The Lord, the Lord God, compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in lovingkindness and truth (faithfulness); 7 keeping mercy and lovingkindness for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin; but He will by no means leave the guilty unpunished, visiting (avenging) the iniquity (sin, guilt) of the fathers upon the children and the grandchildren to the third and fourth generations [that is, calling the children to account for the sins of their fathers].” 8 Moses bowed to the earth immediately and worshiped [the Lord].
That key verse is repeated in the Numbers 14: 18 : "The LORD is long-suffering and abundant in mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression, but He by no means clears the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generation."
The answer is now to seek the help of your indwelling Holy Spirit and claim the Blood of Jesus Victorious over all wicked spirits you and I may have inherited that you can now renounce and repent over. The Blood of the Innocent Lamb is that strong.
You and I are called to "preach" in His name not just from behind a pulpit but also by our new Godly conduct. As you remove old sin patterns you become a cleaner vessel of the Holy Spirit. They see that you have had the spiritual maturity to ask the Holy Spirit to help remove old sin patterns, no longer needed thanks to the Blood of the Lamb.
Please join me in this prayer: " Heavenly Father, in Jesus holy name above all names, may our churches be filled with shepherds actually repenting themselves, and leading their flocks into Your wonderful Gift of repentance. May the Blood of the Lamb cover old sins handed down to us or which we have picked up. May real disciples then spring up by the thousands, the hundreds of thousands, throughout this nation, bringing salt and light, revitalizing and restoring the powerful, Godly roots our forefathers planted, lovingly fearing and respecting You. May we be like those who humbly repented and sought Your Miracles, thereby establishing Your Word, Your Covenant, and Your Liberty in this beloved nation. In Jesus' Name, Amen and Amen."

This coming April 30 NDR will hold for the 14th year in a row a call for a National Day of Prayer, Fasting and Repentance. It's a call at the grassroots in prayer closets and in local churches that day as any pastor may choose.
