STUDENT FEES

Collection of student fees for 2024-2025 has now begun!

What are Student Fees? “Student Fees” are in addition to the capital building fee paid at the time of registration, the parent participation fee due in August, and monthly tuition. Student fees cover required items such as consumables, class fees, etc. as well as optional items such as yearbooks and hoodies.

How much are Student Fees? The amount of your student fees depends on the grades your students are in and the courses they are taking.

Student Fees are not collected by automatic withdrawal and must be paid by the first day of school. Paying your student fees on time is the best way to ensure you receive your gym strip and workbooks at the start of the year.

Visit https://immac.payschoolfees.net or click the button below. Register to create an account, add students, and order the required items.

Payment by credit card online is available for your convenience and a 2.8% transaction fee applies. We also accept payment by email money transfer at irhs.activities@cisnd.ca. (Please be sure that when you send your payment it is clear for whom you are paying.)

We also accept payment by cash, cheque, or debit in the office. Our office closes at 4 p.m. on Friday, June 28, and reopens on Wednesday, August 21 at 8 a.m.

UNDER GRAD MASS AND CEREMONY

In living our faith, we gathered together as Immaculata Family and in some way worked to see “Life with Christ as a wonderful adventure” St. John Paul II..

In closing the year, I would like to share from the Undergraduate Mass the Communion Reflection

Communion Reflection

Our lives are marked forever by those we meet;

the friendships we make and the love we experience,

the reconciliations and the quarrels,

the works we have tried to do together,

for each other and for those less fortunate.

All this has given us something that will last.

Long after we’ve forgotten the marks of our exams,

we will remember the friendships, the times of growth,

the fun, the quarrels, the laughter, the jokes.

We will remember how we helped each other grow people, in faith, in hope and in love.

May what we have done in this place be given to many others in our lives.

(Donal Neary SJ – Masses With Young People – #5 The End of School)

Wishing you a restful family summer.

God Bless

GRAD PROFILES

Chance came to Immac from Glenmore Elementary. Some of his favourite times in High School are the grad retreat and the Fine Arts trip this year. He is most grateful for the friendly atmosphere and accepting peers. Over the summer, Chance will be going to a military training camp in Quebec. In September, Chance will be attending UBC Okanagan to pursue a Bachelor of science. In the future, he hopes to be able to travel somewhere interesting.

Congratulations Chance!

Chaeeun came to Immac as an international student from South Korea in grade 11. One of her favourite memories of Immac was the grad retreat at Seton House. She was originally worried having moved later in the senior years but was pleasantly surprised to find kind friends who were nice to her and made her feel welcome. Chaeeun will be staying in Kelowna to enjoy the summer. She is hoping to attend the University of Calgary and study Natural Sciences in the fall. Chaeeun hopes to settle down in Calgary eventually. Congratulations Chaeeun!

Bryce came to Immaculata from St. Joseph School in Kelowna. Some of her favourite memories in high school include the grad show, going to New York, the physics trip to Vancouver, D&D club, and the Fine Arts trip to Victoria. She is grateful to finally be done with high school and ready for postsecondary! This summer, Bryce will be working and, in the fall, she will be heading to Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops to pursue a degree in Power Engineering. Congratulations Bryce!

Jaime came to Immaculata for a year as an international student from Spain. Some of his favourite memories here include having so much fun in Theology and Psychology. He is grateful for all the field trips and activities the school provides. In the summer, Jaime will be travelling and spending time with his friends back home. He will be attending University CEU San Pablo Fernando III taking Marketing and Commerce in the fall. Jaime’s long-term plans include working with his family and living in Seville. Congratulations Jaime!

Gabriel went to St. Joseph School up to grade 7 before coming to Immac. His favorite memories at Immaculata include the retreats which were fun and where he got to connect with people he hadn’t before. He appreciates the size of the school which is small enough to actually get to know others. In the summer, Gabriel will be working and preparing for post secondary. Gabriel hopes to attend UBC Okanagan in the fall to take Computer Science.

Congratulations Gabriel!

#immacgrad2024

Keegan came to Immaculata from St. Joseph School in Kelowna. Some of his favourite memories of high school are playing on the golf team and winning a tourney in grade 11. He is grateful for the small school with small classes and for all the support transitioning back for graduation after being gone for most of the year. Keegan plans on working at the golf course over the summer and play hockey on the side. In the fall, Keegan will be playing Junior Hockey. His future plans include, playing hockey, going into a trade certification program, and still living in Kelowna. Keegan’s sister Trinity is Immac alumna. Congratulations Keegan!
