To all of the Trojans in Gould’s undergraduate programs and courses, I want to wish every one of you a wonderful fall semester! We at the law school look forward to expanding your knowledge of the law and enriching your academic experience at USC. Recent News

Emily Hansen shares an experience of a lifetime

Over the summer, incoming sophomore and Minor in Legal Studies student, Emily Hansen, interned at the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office in the Healthcare Fraud Division. She learned about the criminal procedure, ethical prosecution, and different areas of criminal law. Her favorite part of the internship was getting an opportunity to accompany the Deputy District Attorneys to court and observing them in action.

USC Gould hosts summer Faculty Workshops

Over the summer, the Gould Educational Quality Committee hosted various workshops to assist faculty in enhancing the online teaching experience.

Faculty focused on how to utilize Zoom breakout rooms to facilitate active learning in groups, plan an active learning activity with the Zoom whiteboard and learned other ways to engage students effectively.

Student Basic Needs

The Student Basic Needs department fosters a culture of holistic well-being by helping to eliminate life barriers, such as food, housing, and economic injustice, that may jeopardize student academic and personal success.

The department support students by developing initiatives, streamlining communication with campus partners, and connecting students to campus and community resources.

Fall 2020 Federal Work-Study Virtual Job Fair

This virtual job fair is designed to help students who have been awarded work-study as part of their financial aid package locate positions "on campus" to enhance their educational experience. The virtual fair will be held on August 21, 2020 on the Brazen virtual fair platform from 1:00 to 3:00 pm.
