Undergraduate Scholarship

Highly qualified undergraduate students are invited to apply to fund study, senior thesis research and/or internships in Germany. Scholarships are available either as part of an organized study abroad program or an independent study abroad semester or year. Apply by Jan 31st, 2018.

Learn German in Germany

DAAD offers grants to faculty members in all academic fields (except German Studies, German Language and Literature, and German Translation and Interpretation) to attend intensive language courses at various Goethe-Institut locations in Germany. Four-week courses are offered year-round. Apply by Jan 31st, 2018.

The German Center for Research and Innovation seeks a media and operations intern for a minimum of 6 months .
This position requires a commitment of 38.5 hours per week; additional evening and weekend hours may be necessary. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis. Start date is April 3, 2018.

Application Tip #27
Can I apply to the Undergraduate Scholarship if I intend to go to Germany in September?

The Undergraduate Scholarship supports grantees for up to 10 months. Normally the grant period coincides with the German academic year starting in October. In a few cases, it is possible to apply from September 1st. (For example, if you are on a study abroad program from September through December or from September through June.)

UAS7 Study and Internship Program
UAS7 Study and Internship Program (SIP) Deadline February 15, 2018 : UAS7 (Seven German Universities of Applied Sciences) invites students who are currently enrolled in Canadian and U.S. colleges to apply for the Study and Internship Program (SIP). Successful applicants will be eligible to study for one semester at a UAS7 member university, receive a short-term internship placement at one of our university laboratories,or do both in combination. Successful applicants are automatically considered for the UAS7 Travel Scholarship of 1,000 EUR to cover transatlantic travel expenses.
