SEE THE NEXT NEIGHBORHOOD MONUMENT SIGN

Due to be installed in April - Park Avenue

Our contractor, Jason Butler has the second monument sign for Grant Road almost ready to go. It will be installed at the southwest corner of Park Avenue and Grant Road. This sign will be more visible than the one at Grant and First and will feature a "silver lining" behind the letters to make them more visible. Jason is also responsible for the beautiful metal ramada at Martin and Lester at the edge of the Banner Basin. The ramada and benches commemorate the U of A Polo Pony stables and playing field formerly located at that site.

This sign was made possible by a generous donation in memory of Minette Burgess. Minette was a fierce advocate for Jefferson Park. She worked tirelessly on many issues facing our neighborhood - the historic nomination, the Health and Heritage Trail, and much more. Jefferson Park is indebted to her in so many ways.

Edison/Campbell Street Parklet Maintenance

If you do pick up trash during another time, please contact Miguel Puig at miguelpuig1979@gmail.com, and your time will count. We report our hours to Tucson Clean & Beautiful as part of the Adopt-a-Park Program. (JP Contact-Miguel -miguelpuig1979@gmail.com )

Helicopters over the neighborhood

No helicopters should fly directly over the Jefferson Park neighborhood (unless an emergency). The required flight pattern to the helipad is from the south. Banner records all non-compliant flights, whether filed online or called in. They use this data to educate pilots and helicopter companies. Put the number in your phone and report fly-overs. It is quick and easy.
