Great response to EmployerOne Survey, let's keep it going!
Local employers are completing Workforce Planning Hamilton's EmployerOne this month to share information on their vacancies, hiring plans, recruitment strategies and challenges and information about job applicants skills, education and training.
We have had an amazing response to our redesigned survey this year, since it is shorter and easier to complete.
If we haven't heard from your company you still have time to complete the EmployerOne.
Thanks to the large and small employers who have completed to date! By sharing your information you are helping to create the Hamilton of the future!
Downtown revitalization continues: 1000 more people are working in downtown Hamilton than in 2015
A recent survey by the City of Hamilton of downtown businesses shows a large increase in the number of people working in the downtown core: up 1,037 from 2015.
The report also finds that 69% of downtown jobs are full time, 26% are part time and 5% are seasonal.
Early findings from Workforce Planning Hamilton's EmployerOne survey show that local employers anticipate growth in most of their industries in the upcoming year, which aligns with the City of Hamilton's findings.
