There are some children who are born into a family of extreme wealth and affluence, and because they are part of the family they inherit this wealth and affluence, not because of anything they've done, but simply because of the family they belong to. They are children of undeserved privilege. This is a picture of everyone who has surrendered their life to Jesus Christ! We have been born again into the family of God; we are now joint heirs with Christ! We are children of undeserved privilege! We haven't earned or worked for anything that our Father has, but we get to freely partake of all that is His, because we are His children.
We are the children of God, freed from the Law of sin and death, secured and redeemed by Christ Jesus! We are not beggars of bread; we are children of privilege! Saved apart from our own efforts, blessed without doing anything to deserve it! We are redeemed because of Jesus and we are blessed because of Jesus! Made right and brought into the family of God by faith, and blessed by faith as well! Live the life of privilege Jesus has made for you! Settle for nothing else! You don't deserve it, and you have not earned it; it's yours by faith alone!
