Chanda
Chanda, a mother of three, was hit by a car while walking to the market one evening. Initially, it seemed she had only sustained minor injuries, needing just five stitches for a leg wound. However, Chanda’s wound became infected, leading to a hospital readmission. Since then, she has had to commute daily to the hospital to have the wound dressed. The hospital is a 30-minute commute each way, so not only are there medical expenses, but there are also daily transportation costs that TIG needs to cover for her.
