On behalf of our hosts Louisville Tourism, TEAM Kentucky, the Travel South Board of Directors, and TSUSA Global Teams – thank you for making the Travel South USA Global Week in Louisville, Kentucky, wildly successful! We deeply appreciate everyone for making the trek - strong attendance and positive energy was just the right timing for businesses to discuss with renewed determination partnerships that create a place where we can welcome international visitors and celebrate our authentic experiences that can only be found here in the South.
Ahead of the event, journalists joined pre-fam tours across all 12 states in the region, including Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia, uncovering the region’s rich culture and experiences.
During Global Week, attendees enjoyed Master Classes on essential topics like modernizing strategies with the Four I’s, maximizing media investments, leveraging AI, and expanding reach through global distribution partners. These sessions provided valuable insights to enhance future marketing efforts.
We were also thrilled to witness the launch of the MICHELIN Guide American South, a groundbreaking moment for our region. For the first time since the Guide’s North American debut in 2005, the American South regional selection will recognize the rich culinary talent and unique flavors that define us.
A heartfelt thank you to the co-hosts Louisville Tourism for making us feel so welcome in the vibrant city of Louisville, under the leadership of Cleo Battle. A very a special shout-out to Nicole Twiggs, Jessica Grace, Jordan Skora, Chenelle McGee, and Nancy Turner– thanks for your hard work in making everyone feel welcome. We're also deeply grateful to our title sponsor, Brand USA, and our platinum sponsors: Explore Louisiana, Tennessee Tourism, Miles Partnership, and Alabama Tourism. We appreciate the support from the Luckie Agency, Ruban Communications, Esra Calvert Consulting, International Inbound Travel Association, Laurie Rowe & Company, Huntsville/Madison County Convention & Visitors Bureau, Phoenix International Publishing, American Tours International, Family Traveler, Where Music was Born, The Independent, Hopper International, Hays Travel, HBX Group, Atlas Obscura, Wanderlust, America Unlimited, Sojern, and MDSG.
We’d love to see you at the All Y’all Are Welcome Activation during IPW on June 16, 2025, at The House of Blues Chicago. It promises to be an unforgettable Southern celebration with all our valued clients, and we look forward to making new memories with you!
