Kelly Morgen

Odette, the Swan Princess Necklace
Love, Transformation, Magic

Handmade from sterling silver and 18k gold, the Odette necklace shows the princess crowned in silver on the front and transformed into a swan on the back.  Her body is carved from a recycled piano key, and her features delicately scrimshawed by hand.  The necklace is reversible - showing the swan on the back - and beaded with black sapphires.  From the famous Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake ballet, Odette's magical story reminds us that love endures beyond all power, time, and even life itself.  She measures 1.4" x 1.25".
Each goddess necklace is signed on the bottom by the artist, with an easy-to-use sterling silver and gemstone box clasp.  The standard beading length is 19" but can be strung to any length.

Inquire at the gallery for more of Kelly's one of  a kind necklaces.

Sandi Lear
Cherish
18" x 24"
Water Colour Painting

"The purity of emotion felt by a parent for their young is singular, deep, soul-felt, almost a rapturous anguish, breathing in the scent of the new born, helping them take their first steps, enfolding them in our love when they hurt or are unsure or afraid.  Not only do we love, we cherish, which is to nurture, be-love the other, offer patience and watch over them.  With these heart-felt emotions and wealth of feeling, our young grow strong, stable, adventurous, but deeply respectful of all our hearts and minds can provide.  Together that special bond of parent and child becomes unassailable through all life's tribulations and joys."

Debra Lyn
Jelly Fish Nebular
24" x 30"
Oil and  phosphorescence Painting

You are looking at the same painting.  The top one is what you'll see with natural daylight.  Debra's paintings absorb light through the day, so that when it is dark in your home, you will see it illuminate through the night.  Stunning? Stunning!

Deborah's process of painting is inspired by the old Dutch Masters. She uses their technique of multiple layers of glazes to achieve rich vibrant colours that have life of their own. Her nebulous and galaxies can have up to 15 to 20 layers of glazes. Then she becomes her own alchemist as she creates her own phosphorescent paint from a strontium aluminate powder. This element is what absorbs the light during the day to release it through the night into your homes for your pleasure. The strontium aluminate is combined with europeine and creates the longest lasting photo luminescent phosphorescence, yet known.
