Join me in exploring history with all New inventors and Explorers. This hands-on unit study will focus on recreating the inventions that were created by some of the great inventors in history. We will build a phone while learning about Alexander Graham Bell. The student will get their hands dirty to grow plants like, Gorge Carver Washington who develop a better way to grow crops. We will look at the architectural foundation that holds up the greatest skyscraper in the world. Ever wonder who invented the elevator? Also, we all know Ford invented the assembly line, but who invented the car? Come and join us and find out. Each class will have the, who, what, where, and when of our inventors. These hands-on classes will give each child ability to tinker and learn how machines were created. Learning the right tool for the job help every time.
The greatest explorer of our times didn’t have GPS. How did they travel without an iPhone!? Each week each student will arrive at class with a box of clues. The clues will consist of letters, journal entries, and physical evidence to find out and map out where they traveled and what steps they took. We will paint and craft the place of discovery. Learning history in a way where the student has to think and put things together will challenge the thought process. Problem-solving skills, teamwork, and using their own strength to find the answer will make a fun time.

Student drop-off will be from 8:30 -9:00 a.m. Students will have a chance to get settled and prepare for an active day of learning and finish up breakfast (provided from home) before class begins. The class ends at 12:00.

Math Reading Writing Reading Comprehension is something that we all need that are basic tools for everyone to be able to learn and grow. Our Wednesdays are going to be concentrating on helping your student become better at either math, reading, writing, or reading comprehension. We are going to be helping your student in a group tutoring style. Broken down into six weeks 3 hours weekly. This will be a drop-off group study program. We will be adding to what you are teaching you're an awesome child at home. This group study is going to be designed to help your child learn how they learn. We all have different learning styles and when we learn how we learn we can succeed in any area of our life. They will have evaluations the week before starting the six weeks. Those who have dyslexia, dyscalculia, and dysgraphia are encouraged to come. These folks are some of our favorites. I work with students that have these awesome abilities often. Each learning style student will be grouped with their style of learning teammate. We're not going to team them up by levels we’re going to team each child on how they all learn. Each child will have goals of their own to reach. After all, we are homeschoolers and we learn at our pace. They will be encouraged to reach that goal weekly and they will earn prizes because I love to give stuff away. You will have two different dates to choose from and drop off will be the same 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and pick up time at 12:00... We understand that sometimes tutoring on an individual basis may be a bit difficult with time crunch schedules and maybe budgets. So we are here to help. Can’t wait to spring into learning.
These are drop-off programs. This will give your child or children a more concentrated and expanded knowledge of different types of subjects. The best part they have more time with friends and you get a few hours to yourself. Please make sure they have snacks/ breakfast/ and or lunch.
