"Celebrating God's Presence, Serving All People"
United Church News November 8th, 2019
Life can be a challenge! In fact, every human that I know has walked through times of physical, emotional and spiritual trauma. But, as we look to God in our seasons of trial, separation, and anxiety...our God is present. Most of us patiently pray, asking God to show up and deliver us...but in our Scripture this coming Sunday, our most appropriate prayer to God could be a loud "cry for help"! Join us, as we focus on the marvelous account in Luke, Chapter 17, where ten men, infected with Leprosy, catch Jesus' attention!

These lepers will teach us 3 lessons they gleaned as the cried aloud, "Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!”

I'll be looking for miracles in our midst!

Bible Study
Pastor Mark's Fall Bible Study:
I John, II John, III John

Continuing this Tuesday at 10AM, Pastor Kathy leads fall Bible Study on John's letters in the New Testament. In his letters, John expresses delight at believers who are "walking in the truth" and behaving with the integrity that reflects the gospel. This involved not just correct doctrine but living and embodying love for God and neighbor. It's this love, John argued, that shows the truth of the gospel really being grasped. All are invited to attend! Simply bring your Bible and an open mind!
