GET CONNECTED

Week of Caring 2024

For over 30 years, United Way of Lancaster has gathered volunteers to serve throughout Lancaster County for the annual Day of Caring. Each year, hundreds of volunteers donate their time and talents. The event provides an opportunity for volunteer groups to connect and build long-lasting relationships with community partners, as well. Last year, we expanded the event to Week of Caring to accommodate more projects and honor the availability of our nonprofit partners. Over 500 volunteers participated in the first Week of Caring, and we aspire to connect even more in 2024!

We are currently working with community partners and adding their service projects. A link to the project sign-up form is below for any organization interested. We encourage projects of all sizes and skill sets, and do our best to match volunteers with each service opportunity.

This year Week of Caring will take place from September 8th to September 14th. We will kick off these days of service on September 8th with One World Festival at F&M College. The rest of the week will be devoted to our project sign-ups.
