She will provide tips for addressing anxious, defiant and avoidant behavior at home and school. Learn more about healthy emotional development in gifted children and practical, proactive approaches to handling life's difficulties. There is much that can be done. Learn when to take action and how to get help.

Presentation: Math & Science Curriculum 

All parents are invited to this informative presentation on recent changes to the math and science curriculum. Learn about the district's process for selecting new curriculum. PVSchools' Science Curriculum Specialist, Janice Mak, will begin the presentation with information about new science curriculum. PVSchools' Math Specialist, Kaylen Miller, will provide information about changes to math curriculum and resources to support your child's learning at home. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions!

We are so proud of our very own PV Roadrunners delegation as they represent PVSchools at the local Special Olympics. Participation is open to all athletes with intellectual disabilities from ages 8 & up of all skill levels. These special student athletes can participate in swimming, bowling, soccer, basketball, flag football, golf and track & field. All coaches are trained volunteers who work hard to give the student athletes the best instruction possible. They are planning to add new programs in robotics, arts and music.
