Happy new school year to our returning UPC Representatives, Alternates and Community Members - AND we would like to extend a very warm welcome to any NEW UPC Representatives, Alternates, and Community Members joining the UPC organization this school year. We often get asked, “How can I become part of UPC?” So, as the new school year kicks off, we wanted to share a reminder about what UPC does and how YOU can be part of it. UPC Representatives are selected at the school site, typically through the respective Parent Group (if such a group exists). Parent Groups should consult respective bylaws to determine UPC Representative selection protocol. UPC Representation may also be selected by school site leadership (e.g., Principal). Keep in mind, you do not need to be a UPC Rep/Member to attend our monthly UPC General Meetings - these meetings are open to the public and all are welcome to join us. Use the link below to learn more…

If you are a 25-26 UPC Representative from your school, please use THIS FORM to complete your membership form for this year. Please complete this form with as much information as possible. Having up to date contact information helps us when we need to reach out to parent groups.

Community members are invited to show their support for UPC and our mission by registering for a UPC Community Membership. Parents and guardians of students currently attending PVSchools are not considered Community Members and are always invited to attend UPC meetings and presentations. Please complete THIS FORM to become a Community Member and then make a donation of $25 using the Zeffy link below.

We are using Zeffy as part of the Membership Registration Process. After you complete the registration form, please send THIS LINK to your parent group's Treasurer or whoever will make the payment for your school's annual membership dues. We kindly request Membership Registration and the Annual Dues payment be submitted by September 1, 2025.

Last year, many parent groups in our community opted to provide financial support for UPC programs such as Teacher and Staff Appreciation, Bus Driver Appreciation and Instructional Assistant Appreciation and you will be able to do that again during your registration! This support allowed UPC to show our appreciation to staff members around the district that play an important role in our children's education. Thank you for considering supporting our district-wide programs! If your parent group board needs to vote on a donation, now is the time prior to registration to make it seamless.

Thank you!

The Curriculum & Instruction Department is facilitating a committee which will determine a new Tier 1 Comprehensive K-12 Science curriculum and possible supplemental curriculum.  The District is requesting additional Parent Representatives to serve on the committee. Science educational or work experience is preferred, but not required. If you are already serving on the committee, you do not need to reapply. If you are unable to continue serving, please e-mail president@pvupc.org.

The committee make up is planned to include:

·      Elementary School Parents (2-3)

·      Middle School Parents (2-3)

·      High School Parents (2-3)

When possible, parent representation on District committees will be from across the district and represent diverse backgrounds and perspectives, in addition to filling the specific criteria requests in line with the goals of that committee. Completing this form does not guarantee placement on the committee. If you are selected for the committee, you will receive an email from UPC confirming your participation. Thank you for your interest in serving on a District committee!  The Curriculum Department is looking forward to a collaborative process that will recommend resources for our teachers and students.
