May Monthly Meeting

Join us for the May UPC meeting followed by the final presentation of the school year: "The Closing Bell" presented by Dr. Jason Reynolds, Superintendent of PVSchools. Dr. Reynolds will be joined by members of Cabinet and district staff to recap this year and provide information about the 25-26 school year.

All current and future parent group leaders are invited to the UPC Parent Group Leadership Training following "The Closing Bell" at 10:30am on May 14th. Please make sure your parent group's board knows they are all invited to this workshop. There will be representatives from the district to provide specific information and answer questions.

District Emergency Response Team (DERT)

The Student Services Department will be facilitating a committee that will review a variety of emergency response preparedness topics for PVSchools.  The District is requesting 3 Parent Representatives to serve on the committee during the 2025-2026 school year.


Proposed Meeting Dates: (Tentative)

Meeting #1: Friday, August 15, 2025

Meeting #2: Friday, November 14, 2025

Meeting #3: Friday, February 6, 2026

Meeting #4: Friday, May 1, 2026

Times will be approximately 9:00 - 11:00 am

Location:  Critical Thinking Room - Community Resource Center, 15002 N. 32nd Street

We will be collecting books at our meeting on May 14th! You can bring them there and we will deliver them to Palomino Primary or you can take them directly to the school.

Donna is a retired special education teacher who now volunteers with the littlest learners in the Lil Cubs Program at the James P. Lee Early Childhood Learning Center. Congratulations, Donna, and thank you for all you do!

(CTE) Programs
