Do you know about Project Search? It is a nationwide program with a mission of "Preparing young people with significant disabilities for success in competitive integrated employment." We are fortunate that PVSchools has a partnership with Mayo Clinic to allow PV students in a transitional program to apply for this special internship program at Mayo Clinic! The students are supported as they develop meaningful job skills so they are ready to enter the workforce upon completion.
Project Search will have an information night on January 25th at 6:00pm at the District Office. More information to follow!
You can support these amazing students By purchasing food items off of this Amazon Wish List! The students are at Mayo all day and are not able to eat lunch in the school cafeteria. Items purchased from this list will be available to students in their classroom at Mayo if they do not being a lunch with them.

The 2022-2023 school year is up and running and we are working on the membership lists to make sure we have the correct contact information for UPC Reps and Parent Group Leaders at each school. Thank you to the schools that have already completed the 2022-2023 Membership Form! If your school is having a hard time finding a volunteer to be your UPC rep, please remember the UPC Monthly Meetings are hybrid. Reps can also join us online which may work better for their schedules. Click here to learn WHAT IS UPC AND HOW CAN I BE A PART OF IT?
Parent Groups should consult their bylaws to determine UPC Representative selection protocol. UPC Representation may also be selected by school site leadership (e.g., Principal). Keep in mind, you do not need to be a UPC Rep/Member to attend our monthly UPC General Meetings - these meetings are open to the public and all are welcome to join us.
After you complete the Membership Form, we will provide an invoice option to pay your Annual Membership Dues. Just select BILL ME as your payment option and a PayPal invoice will be sent directly to your school's parent group leadership (as applicable). Community Members can select this payment option too!
Questions? Contact our VP of Membership, Erica Moriarty, at membership@pvupc.org.
