November Monthly Meeting

Join UPC for our November meeting beginning at 9:00 a.m. Dr. Courson and Cabinet will be at the meeting to share updates and answer questions. Then join us for our November Program:

Inside Our Digital Neighborhoods + The Rise of AI Shortcuts

From online scams to AI-powered shortcuts, today’s students are navigating a digital world that is evolving faster than most parents can keep up. Join us for a grounded, real-world look at what is happening online in our local communities and the growing impact of student AI use.

Hear from a local detective on the front lines of internet safety with the Arizona Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce who will share what is really circulating in our community, from threats to misinformation. Hopefully, things like scams, hacking, sexting, sextortion, and cyberbullying never reach your family. Let’s learn what’s really happening so we can better prepare and protect our kids. Then, UPC Technology Chair Rebecca Guglielmo will unpack how AI is shaping students’ learning, confidence, and critical thinking, and what parents can do to help prepare their kids for a future with AI.
