Dear UPC Reps and Friends,

As we settle into our new reality, we wanted to reach out to all of you and give you some updates. UPC has been working with district to address the needs of parents and students during school closures. We will continue to advocate, educate and collaborate on behalf of all PV students and families.

There are still many unknowns. As days and potentially weeks pass, we will have more answers. Leadership at district is exploring all options and working to find the best educational options for students and to support families during this difficult time.  You can expect a FAQs resource document that will be added to the PVSchools website next week. If your student has medication that needs to be retrieved school offices will be open on March 24 from 9am-11am.  Principals and school nurses will be on-sit to assist.  Information will be coming soon about how to retrieve any additional essential non-medication items from school sites.

At this time, UPC has cancelled all upcoming events. Hopefully, we will be able to reschedule them soon and we will let you know as soon as we do! We are currently looking at different options for an online format for our April meeting. We will share that information with you as we finalize details.

UPC will continue to communicate with parents as soon as we have information. We encourage you to share that information with your school communities. Everyone will benefit from accurate, timely information right now.

Please remember, we are all in this together. If you need help or have questions please reach out to us. We will be happy to work with you to find solutions. Thank you for being an advocate for your school community and working with UPC to make PVSchools a safe and exceptional district for our kids.
Your participation is vital to the success of UPC and to supporting our students and PVSchools.

Thank you for your support.  If you have any questions or suggestions, please email me at [email protected]
