2015 J. Arthur Heck Lectures, Decades Reunion Luncheon and Alumni/ae Banquet

Register by Oct. 12!

The Annual Alumni/ae Awards Banquet, featuring the class of 1975's induction into the Eckels Society , will be held Oct. 14. Decade reunion lunches are planned on the same day for the classes of 1955, 1965, 1975, 1985, 1995 and 2005.

On Oct. 14 and 15, join us for the 2015 J. Arthur Heck Lectures on the theme “Come to the Table: Renewing Faith and Fellowship through Food.” Dr. Norman Wirzba of Duke Divinity School is this year’s Heck Lecturer. He will speak at the Alumni/ae Banquet on Oct. 14 and will lead a plenary on Oct. 15.

Annual Phonathon: Oct. 19-24

Each year, the Phonathon is a valuable opportunity to reconnect with our alumni/ae, share prayers and update contact information so that we can continue to keep in touch! We would greatly appreciate volunteers who can spend just a couple hours calling other alumni/ae during this campaign, Oct. 19 to 24, to support United’s Faithful Leaders Fund. From Nov. 11 to 14, United will host The Methodist School for Supernatural Ministry: Session 1, a course from Aldersgate Renewal Ministry. Featured speakers include United faculty members Peter Bellini, Luther Oconer and David Watson. Register here.

4th Annual Holy Spirit Seminar: Dec. 4

"Prayer — Touching Heaven, Changing Earth"

Join United on Dec. 4 for the 4th annual Holy Spirit Seminar, hosted at Ginghamsburg Church, Tipp City, OH. This year’s Seminar will focus on prayer and intercession with noted authors and speakers Dr. James W. Goll and Dr. Mark Virkler. Register through Nov. 30.

Course of Study: Apply Now for Winter Sessions

The Course of Study hybrid program will hold its on-campus weekend for Fall 2015 on Oct. 9 and 10. This is the program's biggest weekend yet, with 118 students from 25 UMC conferences anticipated on campus to participate in five COS courses!

COS is prescribed by The United Methodist Church for the education of persons serving as Local Pastors. Registration for the Winter 2016 session is open through Dec. 15. Learn more and apply.
