February 11th (2-11) is National 211 Day in Canada. This year, 211 Day falls on a Sunday. Why not share your knowledge of this powerful Community Navigator with at least one friend or family member? If you are a service provider, tell a colleague how useful 211 is. If you know newcomers to Canada, connect them to 211 and its many resources available in their mother tongue.
We live in one of the most prosperous regions in North America. Still, more than 5,900 or 13% of families in Red Deer live in poverty. With the recent economic conditions we know these numbers have climbed.
We invite you to take a bold step. Put yourself in the shoes of someone living in poverty. Take part in a powerful experience.
On Bell Let's Talk Day, Bell will donate more towards mental health initiatives in Canada, by contributing 5¢ for every applicable text, call, tweet, social media video view and use of our Facebook frame or Snapchat filter.
