Campaign Updates

Welcome to the 2017 Friday Report, a weekly recap of what's happening in our United Way campaign!

Please note: If you would prefer not to receive these emails weekly, you can update your email preferences to receive our monthly newsletters or only important updates. Check the footer of this email for a link to Update Profile/Email Address or SafeUnsubscribe. Either option will allow you to update your preferences to receive only the emails you want.

We are making a great start toward reaching our goal of $2,535,000. We have been busy with campaigns among all of our schools -- dozens of schools across 7 counties and about 15 districts. And we're getting our business campaigns well underway.

This week marks the start of Toyota Mississippi's campaign, one of our top 3. Thank you, Toyota employees, for all you do for United Way!

Next week will kick off our campaign with North MS Health Services & NMMC. This is our largest campaign, with hundreds of participants across the NMHS network. We can't wait to come visit with you all!

The workplace campaign is the backbone of our fundraising, and we literally could not do it without all of you!

We are also receiving many corporate gifts and individual contributions on a daily basis. We appreciate our local businesses and our individual donors who help support United Way!

Volunteer Opportunities

Looking for volunteer opportunities for yourself or a group? Check out our Volunteer page at www.unitedwaynems.org/volunteer

Young Leaders Survey

Are you 40 or younger? We would love your input about what issues are important to you in your community. Friends over 40 are welcome to participate as well. Answers are anonymous, unless you choose to include your contact information, and this information will help us create opportunities for young leaders to get more involved in our communities!

Click here to take the survey. And please share through social media so we get as much input as possible. Thank you!

Campaign Photo of the Week

Can you find Hector?

We packed t-shirts for the North MS Health Services & NMMC campaign, and Hector got a bit lost in the chaos! These bags are currently lining our hallway, all the way into Melinda's office! We have dozens and dozens of shirts to deliver to NMMC employees for their generous contributions!
