Julius G. Berry Volunteer Service Award
We were deeply honored to present the 2019 J.G. Berry Volunteer Service Award in memory of Cindy Sparks, the director of the Good Samaritan Free Clinic for 25 years.

Cindy passed away in December 2019, but her legacy continues to inspire others.

United Way staff and board chair, David Wilson, joined the free clinic staff and board members last Thursday morning to present the Award to Cindy's husband, Marty Sparks, and their sons, Taylor and Sam.

We miss Cindy dearly and are so grateful to have been able to work with her for many years in her role at the clinic and through her help with the United Way campaign. She was an amazing person who loved her work and her community, and we are proud to honor her with this award for her service.
