Addiction and incarceration dominated his life for years
"You got to reach out, you've got to grasp at the straw given to you. If you don't reach out, nothing is going to happen." This is what guided Jim Jernigan to Exodus Homes (a Catawba County United Way funded partner) on his journey to breaking the cycle of addiction and prison. Watch the video to hear more of his story.

United Way shares impact stories during campaign visits
The Catawba County United Way staff spent all of Wednesday making campaign visits at Vanguard Furniture and Hickory Chair. It was a great opportunity to share the CCUW's mission and introducing some of our funded partners to the public. We enjoyed learning about these companies and sharing local resources with them and information about 2-1-1. Thank You again to everyone who helps make days like these possible.
