HELP US STUFF THE BUS!
Stuff the Bus is only a few weeks away! Help us make sure students in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties are equipped with the tools they need to succeed this school year! This is the only school supply drive supported by both local school districts.

Drop Off School Supplies
Host your own school supply collection site! Or drop by one of our participating Walmart locations on July 21 to purchase and/or drop off supplies. We've just added Tiger Point, giving us 6 locations!

Make a Gift
Can't make it to one of the drop-off spots? Make a gift and let the schools get exactly what their students need. You can give at uwwf.org/school850 or by texting SCHOOL850 to 44321. Every item and dollar donated will go directly to Escambia and Santa Rosa counties' school districts. Monetary gifts will be used strictly by the school districts to purchase supplies.

Volunteer
You can volunteer to support Stuff The Bus with various tasks like sorting, packing, and more! Volunteers are essential to Stuff the Bus.

OUT OF THE DARKNESS
Helping veterans find the resources and support they need is personal for UWWF’s Florida Veterans Support Line (FVSL) team. And many times, it takes months of work to improve a person’s life.

An Army Veteran called FVSL in December 2021. He was recently released from prison and had a hard time finding employment. He was running out of money and facing eviction.

See how a Veteran Care Coordinator was able to help him through support and advocacy.
BATTLE OF THE BARRISTERS
Battle of the Barristers Champs - Clark Partington's Super Troupers
What a night of trivia and fun! The inaugural Battle of the Barristers was a huge success. Thanks to all the teams who came out to compete and support United Way of West Florida- Beggs & Lane, Autumn Beck Blackledge PLLC, Carver Darden, Moorhead Law Group, and Clark Partington Attorneys at Law.

Clark Partington took home the trophy, answering a tie-breaker question to win. Thank you Odd Colony Brewing Co. for the space, Ranger Brandon for the fun game, and Gulf Coast Trophies for our trophy!

WELCOME!
We're excited to welcome Trinity to UWWF as a summer intern! She is a student at Pine Forest High School.

Trinity says, "It sounded like an amazing place to intern as I would be helping to make a difference in people’s lives. I love helping people, so it was a perfect fit for me."

Trinity will be helping out at the front desk and with other projects over the next few weeks.
ONWARD & UPWARD
Some of United Way of West Florida's leadership team recently attended the United Ways of Florida Statewide Leaders Conference.

This year's theme was "Onward & Upward" as United Ways look toward how we can best strengthen our communities now and in the near future.

Our team brought home information from the sessions and conversations with our colleagues that will help UWWF serve our neighbors the best we can in the coming year.
WE'LL SEE YOU THERE!
PENSAPRIDE
