Go2Grow SAW Now Accepting Applications
Go2Grow helps families review and sign up for early care and education opportunities. This single application can also inform families of their eligibility for publicly-funded programs that may provide free or reduced cost options.

Go2Grow applications can be filled out year-round by any family with a child, birth to age 5, looking for care in Staunton, Augusta County, and Waynesboro.

Valley VITA is Here!
The Valley Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program (VITA) is still scheduling appointments for the current tax season. Appointments can be scheduled by calling 540-221-1654.
Volunteers are still needed to help make the program a success. All training is provided. Volunteering with Valley VITA is a great opportunity to learn new skills, gain experience, and be a part of an impactful community program.

FEMA & ARPA Funds Available
UWSAW received notification that the City of Staunton has been chosen to receive funds to supplement emergency food and shelter programs through two opportunities through FEMA and the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021.

FEMA EFSP Phase 39 = $7,186
ARPA-R = $22,211
